📖 Full Mölkky Rules (English)

🎯 Goal of the game

Be the first to reach exactly 50 points by throwing a wooden stick (called a mölkky) at numbered pins from 1 to 12.

👥 Number of players

2 or more players. You can also play in teams.

🧱 Setup

• Place the 12 numbered pins tightly together in a triangle formation (start layout).
• Players throw from a distance of about 3 to 4 meters.

🪵 How to play

• Players take turns throwing the mölkky stick underhand (no run-up).
• If one pin falls → you score the number on that pin.
• If multiple pins fall → you score the number of pins that fell.
• After each throw, pins are stood up exactly where they fell, not back in the triangle.

🧮 Scoring

• Your goal is to reach exactly 50 points.
• If you go over 50 → your score drops to 25 points.
• If a player misses 3 times in a row, they are eliminated.

🏁 End of the game

The first player or team to reach exactly 50 points wins the game.
