The TV channel BFM Alsace visited our team to give you a behind-the-scenes look at La Montagne des Singes, a unique wildlife park located in Kintzheim.
This 4-part video series invites you to meet the 240 Barbary macaques living in semi-freedom in a beautiful 24-hectare forest.
đ„ Each episode explores a different aspect of the park: the animals, their behavior, our educational mission, and our conservation efforts.
đŹ Episode 1: An immersive visit to the heart of the park
This first episode introduces the origins of the park, the organization of the macaque groups, and how we raise awareness to help preserve this endangered species.
đŹ Episode 2: Births, baby monkeys and education
Letâs focus on the youngest ones! This episode dives into how macaques give birth, how the babies grow up, and how our educational staff share their passion with school groups and families.

This third episode takes you into our immersive trail “In a monkeyâs shoes” and reveals some fun facts about the daily life of macaques â including young monkeys diving into the water like in a pool!

The final episode takes you behind the scenes with Kylian during the feeding time. Youâll learn how food is distributed according to group hierarchy, what they eat, and how some snacks (like popcorn) were removed for behavioral reasons.
